Clear Channel Launches CHR Z104.3 In Baltimore

Clear Channel has flipped Modern Rock WCHH (Channel 104.3)/Baltimore. After stunting for a few hours as "Charm 104.3 - Baltimore's Best R&B," it officially became CHR "Z104.3" at noon. Z104.3 will be running commercial free for its first 10,000 songs. The station can be found online at Z1043.com.

Clear Channel promises the new station "will feature today’s best artists, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Beyoncé" and more. The company states that "Z104.3 will be modeled after the many successful CHR stations under the Clear Channel umbrella such as Z100 in New York, Hot 99.5 in Washington D.C. and KIIS in Los Angeles. With all of the CHR assets at Z104.3’s disposal the station will live up to the high standards that Clear Channel takes pride in while incorporating a flavor that will remain unique to Baltimore."

It is finally time for listeners to be able to hear all the hits in one place, and Z104.3 is the new home for those hits.
