She also will perform on the Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, November 13.
Eminem reportedly will produce and star in a 3D horror movie called Shady Talez. Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder are among the musicians expected to perform at a gala event to mark Motown Records' 50th anniversary on November 21 in Detroit. The show also will feature tributes to Michael Jackson and Four Tops star Levi Stubbs. Proceeds from the event will go to the Motown Historical Museum, located in the label's original headquarters. As previously reported, a number of up-and-coming artists also will perform classic Motown songs during the Halftime show at the Thanksgiving Day NFL game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. Indie rock drummer Jerry Fuchs passed away over the weekend after falling down an elevator shaft in Brooklyn on Saturday night. He was 34-years-old. Fuchs played with a number of bands, including !!!, The Juan McLean and others. The New York Post reports that Fuchs and a friend were stuck in an elevator between floors, opened the door and had attempted to jump across the shaft to get to the next floor, but Fuchs didn't make the leap and fell.
