Job Description:
FMQB is a dynamic company that produces high quality digital media and an industry print magazine on a weekly basis. The company is deeply involved in the radio, broadcast, and music industries. The New Media Assistant will aid in the day to day production and maintenance of all digital services for FMQB. Duties include updating FMQB.com and all related domains, creating and maintaining daily and weekly emails, creating simple graphics for use on the websites, and maintaining contact and content databases. Special projects will also be assigned as needed. This is a part-time position that requires a commitment of about 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
· Working knowledge of HTML, ASP, PHP, Java/Javascript, MySQL, and web-based programming.
· Working knowledge of web design and maintenance.
· Basic knowledge of audio production and streaming media.
· Basic knowledge of graphic design and web animation.
· Candidate should be comfortable with Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, and proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Knowledge of Quark a plus.
· Interest in broadcast media and music a plus.
