An appearance from Teen Pop singer Justin Bieber led to pandemonium at a Long Island mall over the weekend. Bieber was slated to sign autographs at the Roosevelt Mall in Garden City, NJ on Saturday afternoon, but a crowd that had been waiting for hours grew unruly and caused a stampede, according to the New York Daily News. Conflicting reports from Bieber's own Twitter account and his label Island Records led to confusion as to the status of the appearance. Island SVP of Sales James Roppo was arrested for sending out a message online that the autograph signing was still happening. The label later released a statement apologizing to fans, saying, "Over 10,000 screaming fans showed up and the police and fire marshal concluded it was an unsafe environment and prohibited the event from taking place." Roppo was released later in the day on Saturday.

On Tuesday, November 24, Classic Rock WMGK/Philadelphia morning host, John DeBella, will accept monetary and turkey donations during his 8th Annual John DeBella Turkey Drop. The John DeBella Turkey Drop is the largest, one day food gathering event in Philadelphia. This and every year, the Turkey Drop benefits City Team Ministries Philadelphia, an organization that provides food and services to less fortunate individuals, families, shelters and food groups in the tri-state area. Last year, the number of meals provided through emergency food boxes had increased from 12,000 to 18,000. This year, that number has already exceeded 20,000 and they still have two months to go.
DeviceDaily.com reports that Logitech is releasing a USB Radio Tuner. The USB drive contains an AM and FM receiver and an FM antenna, and is described as a "TiVo for radio." The software in the device lets users schedule and record radio broadcasts, even splitting up tracks and synching with iTunes. More information can be found here.

"When I found that Ned was venturing into client based voice and production work, I jumped at the opportunity to work with him," said WLUM PD Jacent Jackson.
