Vevo, the new premium music video and entertainment service powered by YouTube, announced a deal with CBS Interactive Music Group to offer music programming from CBS Interactive properties. The deal includes Last.fm and over 90 CBS Radio music stations beginning next year. The announcement was made today by Rio Caraeff, President/CEO of Vevo and David Goodman, President of CBS Interactive Music Group.
Through the deal, live musical performances, in-studio artist appearances, as well as interviews and behind the scenes coverage from CBS stations all over the country and Last.fm will be featured across the Vevo Network. Additionally, Vevo will offer music fans exclusive access to select CBS Radio station events such as KROQ’s Acoustic Christmas and B96’s Jingle Bash.
"Vevo’s intent is to offer the music fan unparalleled access to a rich library of music programming featuring their favorite artists, whether it be music videos in the traditional sense or other new and original music content," said Caraeff. "The CBS Interactive Music Group’s catalogue of programming will invite Vevo users to watch their favorite artists on stage, at the interview mic and behind-the-scenes. We are pleased to partner with the CBS Interactive Music Group, whose exclusive content joins Vevo's growing music video library offering an even greater choice for fans."

Vevo will launch in the U.S. and Canada next Tuesday, December 8.
