Emmis Communications reported an eleven percent increase in net revenue in their just released third quarter fiscal report, which ended November 30, 2005. The company reported a net revenue of $100.5 million, an increase from $90.2 million for the same quarter from last year.

Citadel-Spokane ups Country KDRK PD Cary Rolfe to OM of the station as well as the cluster. In his new role, Rolfe will have oversight of Classic Rock KZBD, Classic Hits KBBD, Adult Standards KEYF-AM, Oldies KEYF-FM, Sports KJRB and News/Talk KGA.

Beasley Country WKIS/Miami GM Joe Bell adds additional GM duties at Sports clusterbuddy WQAM. Bell will also handle Market Manager responsibilities for both stations.

Journal Broadcast Group promotes Milwaukee cluster VP/Operations Rick Belcher and Omaha OM Tom Land to the newly created Sr. Group Programmer posts.

Nettwerk Records LLC and The RCA Records Group have agreed on an exclusive distribution relationship for Nettwerk Records in the U.S. Nettwerk Music Group is Canada's leading privately owned record label and artist management company.

KDKB/Phoenix announces the following line-up changes: PD/afternoon host Paul Peterson segues to mornings where he'll team with co-host Scott Torgersen. Peterson replaces Pete Cummings, who stays with cluster in an as yet to be determined role. Dock Ellis returns to the station for afternoons, while MD Matt Spaetzel tacks on APD duties.

A U.S. District Court Judge has given tentative approval to the proposed settlement of the Sony BMG class action lawsuit over their much-publicized rootkit troubles. The settlement, which compensates consumers with DRM-free copies of albums, still requires a final approval.
