Michael Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for providing the singer with the powerful anesthetic propofol that was found to be a major factor in his death. Murray's arraignment at a Los Angeles court is scheduled to begin today at 4:30 EST/1:30 PST, according to the New York Times, and if convicted, Murray could face a possible four-year prison sentence. About an hour before the scheduled start of the arraignment, some members of the Jackson family arrived at the court house, including Jackson’s father, Joseph, his brother Jermaine, and his sister La Toya.

The Who performed a 12-minute medley of some of their biggest hits as the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl last night. Opening up with a portion of "Pinball Wizard," Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend, along with their usual backing band, also played parts of "Baba O'Reilly," "Who Are You?," "See Me, Feel Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." The band was surrounded by an impressive lights and fireworks spectacular, with a state-of-the-art stage setup featuring the band's logo and digital shots of Townshend's silhouette in his classic "windmill" pose.

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is expected to announce a 2010 arena tour, following her current run of dates overseas. Billboard reports that Gaga will play arenas in Europe in the spring, with a North American arena tour in the summer. These would be her biggest live shows yet. Billboard reports that Live Nation Entertainment's global touring division will take over as promoter/producer of the new leg of touring.

An event last Thursday night for 30 Seconds To Mars fans was interrupted by a bomb scare. Alternative Press reports that the band was screening footage from its upcoming documentary for fans at their studio, The Hive, in Los Angeles. A man brought a box onstage and put it at the feet of singer Jared Leto, who grabbed the man and pulled him out of the room. The bomb squad was called in, but the box reportedly merely contained a blender and some candy. The 30STM event was rescheduled for the following night.

Justin Timberlake was honored on Friday as Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year. According to reports, J.T. ended up wearing a curly blonde wig, a bra and high heels by the end of the event, which also had members of the Hasty Pudding troupe portraying his former *NSync pals, as well as Britney Spears.

Bon Jovi has extended their June residency at the O2 Arena in London with two more shows on June 25 and 26. Kid Rock has been added as the opening act. Bon Jovi is currently slated to play 13 shows in London.

Ozzy Osbourne's new autobiography, I Am Ozzy, has debuted at #2 on the New York Times' Bestseller List for Hardcover Non-fiction books.

The Gaslight Anthem has titled their new album American Slang, reports the NME. The New Jersey rockers' follow-up to their breakthrough album The '59 Sound is due out in June and the band has announced a handful of U.K. dates in late June.
