New EMI CEO Roger Faxon is expected to present his plan for rescuing the struggling record label to boss Guy Hands within the next two weeks, according to the New York Post. Faxon's plan could likely include new distribution deals and securitizing assets on the publishing side. "They're looking at new ways to monetize their assets," a source told the Post. "They're looking for distribution deals or a sale on the recorded music side."

JoJo joins CHR/Rhythmic KPEZ/Austin for MD/afternoon duties, replacing Cruz who took the night gig at KHKS/Dallas. JoJo formerly was at CHR sister KXXM/San Antonio where he handled nights, afternoons and more recently weekends.
At Rhythmic CHR WTMG/Gainsville, Alexandra "The Midday Mamacita" Marie will step down in August to switch careers.
David "Diego" Tomerlin segues from Clear Channel-St. Louis to CC's Minneapolis-St. Paul cluster, to become its new Creative Imaging Director for CHR KDWB and News/Talk KTLK. "Diego is an extremely creative and talented Production/Imaging director," said Rob Morris, OM of the two stations.
