Linkin Park Debuts New Song In Video Game
July 27, 2010

Linkin Park
Linkin Park tops the in-game soundtrack for EA's Medal Of Honor war game with the lead song to their new album, A Thousand Suns, which is due on September 14. The song, entitled "The Catalyst," will be featured in an exclusive trailer directed by the band's DJ, Joe Hahn. The trailer is a mix of live footage and intense modern military action from the Medal Of Honor game and will be released exclusively on August 1 at www.medalofhonor.com/linkinpark, one day before the song is released to radio, iTunes and other media. Check out a preview of the song now at www.medalofhonor.com/linkinpark. It is also posted on YouTube.

"This is a unique, creative association for us and a collaboration that we are excited about," stated Hahn. "The opportunity to help introduce 'The Catalyst' via the new Medal Of Honor game creates a new bond between EA, our fans, and the band's overall vision for the new digital frontier. We are enormously proud of the music on A Thousand Suns and are excited to have created an exclusive trailer around the lead track."

Medal Of Honor launches on October 12 for the PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and PC. As previously reported, the new Linkin Park album is co-produced by Rick Rubin and vocalist Mike Shinoda, who last joined forces to produce 2007's Minutes To Midnight. The group will be touring Europe in the fall, beginning on October 20 at the O2 World in Berlin and wrapping on November 11 at the O2 Arena in London.
