WFNX/Boston PD Keith Dakin segues to Cox Media Group's Stamford/Norwalk, CT cluster as OM for News-Talk WSTC-AM/WNLK-AM, Classic Rock WFOX and AC WCTZ.

Modern Rock KSJO/San Jose PD Michael Solari moves over to clustermate Classic Rock KFOX as Promotion Director. Clear Channel-San Jose Station Manager Justin Wittmayer will handle KSJO programming duties in the interim.

WKRZ/Columbus, OH recently flipped back to Active Rock as "The Blitz," after two years as "The Rock." The station's ratings have jumped from a 2.1 with 12+ listeners to a 4.1 in the Spring book. "I couldn’t be more excited for our listeners," says Hal Fish, Director of Programming Operations. "This just means we did a good job of giving them what they asked for. It began with the Rock Town Hall Meeting on-air back in March, continued with the online voting that brought The Blitz back in April and continues today with every Blitz Feedback Forum that helps us pick the songs they want to hear. We don’t assume we know what they want… We ask."

Former KWMT/Tucson PD/Morning Co-host Blake Rogers joins X-107 in Grand Cayman for similar duties.

Tribune Interactive promotes Tim Dukes to VP of Interactive Marketing and Andy Friedman to VP of Content for Broadcasting. "Tim and Andy have media industry knowledge and expertise that we’re going to leverage for the benefit of all of our business units and consumers," said Jeff Kapugi, Tribune Interactive COO. "I have no doubt they’ll be successful."

Citadel announces it is removing Urban AC WMGL/Ravenel-Charleston, SC from the Last Bastion Station Trust, as the company's relocation of Sports WNKT into the Columbia, SC market allows it to still own WMGL.

Digital Music News reports that the RIAA will not be freezing the assets of file-sharing site LimeWire. A Judge's order denies an RIAA motion but does not reverse the original court decision against LimeWire.
