Lionel Richie remains atop the Billboard/Soundscan sales chart for a second week in a row with his Country record Tuskegee selling 114,000 more copies. Pop singer-songwriter Jason Mraz had the biggest debut of the week, with Love Is A Four Letter Word selling 102,000 copies and landing at #2. Train's new album California 37 gives the San Francisco band their highest chart position ever at #4. Adele's unstoppable 21 is at #3, with One Direction at #5. The top ten was rounded out by Nicki Minaj at #6, Gotye's Making Mirrors at #7, rapper Future debuting at #8 with Pluto, Slipstream from Bonnie Raitt at #9 and Luke Bryan climbing to #10 with Tailgates & Tanlines.

The Offspring have announced their ninth studio album, Days Go By, will be out in early summer. The follow-up to 2008's Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace will also feature new Offspring drummer Pete Parada. You can hear a clip of the title track to Days Go By in a video trailer for the album, seen below. Band members Dexter Holland and Noodles will debut "Days Go By," the lead single from the record, on KROQ/Los Angeles' Kevin and Bean show this Friday morning.

In a recent interview, Damon Albarn revealed that both Blur and Gorillaz were essentially finished. However, in a new interview with Metro, Albarn clarifies his thoughts on both his biggest bands. Discussing Blur's future, he told the paper, "Some days I feel one way and other days I feel the other. If you don't see something as a career but an important part of your life, you don't know how you're going to feel about it." He added that "nothing's been said between us about the beginning or the end." As for Gorillaz, Albarn said, "When Jamie [Hewlett, co-creator of Gorillaz] and I have worked out our differences, I'm sure we'll make another record." He continued, "We've been through too much together for it to be that big of a mountain to climb. We've just fallen out like mates do sometimes. I'm not the only person to fall out with mates and then make up again-- everyone does it."

Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and T.I. are the headliners for Atlanta's 2012 Music Midtown festival. The festival runs September 21-22 in Atlanta's Piedmont Park. Also on the bill are Florence + The Machine, The Avett Brothers, Girl Talk, Ludacris and many others.

Details have been officially announced on The Beach Boys' new album, due out June 5 on Capitol/EMI. The comeback record is titled That's Why God Made The Radio, which is also the title of the lead single. The song landed at radio today and is also available digitally. "Radio was my whole education," says Brian Wilson. "Chuck Berry, Rosemary Clooney, The Four Freshmen, Phil Spector, Little Richard... To hear ‘That’s Why God Made The Radio’ on the radio would be a thrill beyond belief, it really would." The album’s other new songs include "Think About The Days," "Isn’t It Time," "Spring Vacation," "Private Life Of Bill And Sue," "Shelter," "Daybreak Over The Ocean," "Beaches In Mind," "Strange World," "My Life Suite" and "Summer’s Gone."

Jack White
Jack White will compose the score to next summer's remake of The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed the news yesterday, and told attendees at CinemaCon, "We’re going to have a little rock ‘n’ roll score, and I can’t wait to hear his rendition of the William Tell Overture," according to EW.com. You can also see a series of short videos previewing White's webcast concert, directed by Gary Oldman. The clips of White and Oldman are available at www.youtube.com/JackWhiteVEVO.

People has named Beyonce the "world's most beautiful woman," putting the Pop superstar on the cover of magazine. "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth," the singer told People.
