Pandora, Clear Channel On Top Again In March Triton Digital Rankings

Triton Digital has released its monthly Internet audio ranker for March, and once again Pandora and Clear Channel dominated the month. Triton uses its Average Active Sessions (AAS) to rank online broadcasters, and for the Domestic work week ranker (M-F, 6a-8p), Pandora reached 1,324,096 AAS, up from over 1.2 million a month ago. Pandora also had over 610 million Session Starts in March, up from 524.6 million in February Clear Channel grew its AAS to 240,594 from 229,375 last month, with over 121.4 million Session Starts.
CBS Radio was ranked third once again, followed by Cumulus, Slacker, EMF Corporate, Cox Radio, ESPN, Entercom and Digitally Imported.
Clear Channel was #1 for the All Streams Ranker for the work week, followed by CBS, Digitally Imported, Prisa Radio, Cumulus, Slacker, 977Music.com, EMF Corporate, Cox and Sky Radio.
Looking at the full week (6a-mid) Domestic Ranker, Pandora was still #1 with Clear Channel ranked #2. The top ten is rounded out by CBS, Cumulus, Slacker, EMF Corporate, Digitally Imported, Cox, ESPN and Entercom.
The All Streams full week ranker still has Clear Channel at #1, but Digitally Imported was ranked #2 then CBS at #3. Prisa Radio, Cumulus, 977Music.com, Slacker, EMF Corporate, 1.fm and Sky Radio round out the top ten.
