Bob Buchmann Joins KGB/San Diego As Morning Co-Host
June 20, 2012

Clear Channel Media & Entertainment Classic Rocker KGB/San Diego announces the addition of programming veteran Bob Buchmann as morning co-host. Bob will be joining KGB’s current host Coe Lewis starting Tuesday, June 26 for the KGB Morning Show with Bob and Coe.

KGB PD Shauna Moran says, "I'm thrilled to have an iconic radio talent and programmer join the legendary KGB.  Bob brings a tremendous knowledge and passion for this format and has worked with some of the top talent in the industry. Together with Coe Lewis' history with KGB and love for  our  listeners, it is sure to be a great morning show team that San Diego will enjoy waking up to."

"So let me get this straight", adds Buchmann. "I get the keys to the control room and rock library, I’ll have San Diego institution Coe Lewis by my side, and can hang with listeners every morning who are hell-bent on loyalty to a station that's never broken its promise to rock. Is this a dream? And last question: do they really sell fish sandwiches at SeaWorld?"

He continues, "My sincerest thanks to Program Director Shauna Moran, Ops Manager Jimmy Steele, Market Manager Debbie Wagner and SVPP Gene Romano. This is gonna be fun!"

Buchmann was most recently PD of Cumulus Classic Rock KLOS/Los Angeles until last fall. He spent nine years at the helm of Classic Rock WAXQ/New York, as well as time at WBAB/Long Island.
