Adam Block has been promoted to President of Legacy Recordings, Sony Music Entertainment's catalog label. The Cherrytree Records imprint label is splitting off from Interscope, after seven years under the Interscope umbrella. Cherrytree head Martin Kierszenbaum confirmed the news to Billboard.biz, as the label's contract with Interscope ends as of June 30. Cherrytree's roster includes Robyn, LMFAO, Feist and Far East Movement.
