CBS Radio CHR WDZH (98.7 AMP Radio)/Detroit hires Mikey V (aka Michael Vinci) for nights, starting this Monday, July 16. Mikey V previously held down nights and imaging at CHR WNOU/Indianapolis.

At Hot AC WKZY/Gainsville, FL, Andrew Silanskas exits after two years. He was night host, as well as the local Kidd Kraddick producer, and graphic designer for the Marc Radio-Gainsville cluster.

CBS Radio's KEZK-FM (Fresh 102.5)/St. Louis announces that Greg Hewitt will return to the company as the station’s afternoon drive personality, effective Monday, July 16. Hewitt is no stranger to the St. Louis airwaves. He spent the past two years at KLOU radio in various on-air roles, but for the majority of his career, Hewitt served as midday host/APD at CBS Radio’s KYKY from 1988-2006. 

Mike Rovin joins AC WHOM and CHR WJBQ/Portland for PD duties. Rovin arrives from the APD/MD/Production & Imaging post at AC WWLI/Providence.

Albie Dee exits his APD/afternoon position at Shamrock Classic Rock WZBA (100.7 The Bay)/Baltimore. He'll continue his weekend/swing work at CBS Rhythmic CHR WPGC/Washington, DC as well as focusing on his imaging/voiceover business.

Triple A KGSR/Austin MD/middayer Kristen Kurtis adds APD stripes. Kurtis will assume a more active role in KGSR’s brand strategy and run the daily operation of its HD2 The Music Lounge.

Urban Oldies KDAY/Los Angeles taps PJ (Butta) for afternoon duties.

Rob Neal is named VP/GM at Pittman Broadcasting's four station Lafayette, LA cluster.

Myisha Brooks has been promoted to the position of VP of Publicity at Universal Republic Records. Brooks had served as Director of Publicity for Universal Republic since 2009.

Slacker adds three new free Artist Showcase stations for Metric, Karmin and Chiddy Bang. Slacker now offers 21 personalized radio stations hosted by musicians.

Web radio aggregator TuneIn signs a deal with NPR, adding NPR content to TuneIn, including all of NPR's live and on-demand programs. NPR, along with member stations who sign agreements with TuneIn, also gain access to TuneIn Amplifier, which offers industry-leading tools, such as free analytics and an ad platform.

SoundExchange appoints three new members to the digital royalties collections organization's Board of Directors: Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, Ray Hair and Paul Robinson.

Canadian broadcasters Astral Media and Corus have both reported their fiscal Q3 results. Astral's net earnings were up seven percent in the quarter to $56.2 million from $52.6 million a year earlier. Revenue was down one percent to $265.5 million. Meanwhile, Corus reported a 33 percent profit margin in its radio division and increases in net income and earnings for shareholders. However, consolidated revenues and segment profit fell by four percent in fiscal Q3.
