Longtime Clear Channel executive Clay Hunnicutt gets a new title, as he is promoted to EVP of Programming. In his new position, Hunnicutt will have expanded oversight of CC's brands and programming in major markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Washington, D.C.-Baltimore and San Diego.

Gary Cee is named Director/Operations at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment-Tri State. Cee who will have oversight of Classic Rock WNNJ, AC WSUS and CHR WHCY, previously handled PD duties at Rock WPDH in New York's Hudson Valley.
 
Hot AC WBZZ/Pittsburgh welcomes Elista as its new AMD/night host. Elista joins from nights/Promotion Director post at CHR WXIL/Parkersburg, WV, Marietta, OH.

Chicagoland Radio and Media reports that Rock WLUP (The Loop)/Chicago will replace current morning man Pete McMurray with Maxwell, starting July 30. It is unknown if McMurray will exit Merlin Media-Chicago altogether. Maxwekk is currently heard on sister Modern Rock WKQX (Q87.7) under the name Slater and is best known for his time on afternoon drive at WMMS/Cleveland.

Modern Rock WEQX/Manchester, VT-Albany, NY announces its third annual PearlPalooza music and arts festival. Taking place Saturday, September 22, Matt and Kim will headline the all-day, free, outdoor event.
