Tim Herbster Named VP Of Special Programming Projects For Clear Channel
August 9, 2012

Tim "Romeo" Herbster
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announces that its National Programming Platforms has named Tim "Romeo" Herbster as Vice President of Special Programming Projects. Herbster is the host of the nationally syndicated show Saturday Night Online and will continue to host the show in conjunction with his new position.

As VP of Special Programming Projects, Herbster will manage large-scale national projects, working closely with EVP of National Programming Platforms Darren Davis on advertiser integration programs. He will also develop on-air and digital music programming and content. Herbster will relocate to New York City from Philadelphia, where he most recently served as Program Director for CHR WIOQ (Q102) and Online Program Director for the CCM+E-Philadelphia cluster.

"It’s an incredibly exciting time at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and to program at the national level, working side-by-side with Tom Poleman and Darren Davis, is a dream come true," said Herbster. "I’m looking forward to developing top-tier on-air and digital content and executing unique national advertising programs and live events.  I’m also excited to continue my weekly syndicated show Saturday Night Online at its new home in New York from the world famous Z100 studios."

"Tim's background and skill set perfectly align with Clear Channel's position as a fully integrated media company.  His experience programming some of the country's most successful radio stations, background in digital radio and keen sense for creating advertiser-focused solutions make him a perfect fit for this role," said Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms. "Bringing him onto the National Programming Platforms team makes perfect sense and is yet another great differentiator for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment."
