Rhythmic KKFR/Phoenix taps weekend talent Felicia Macias (a.k.a. That Girl Fel) for middays. Macias fill the void left following the recent death of midday host Chris Chavez.

Jerry Jensen joins Mapleton Communications as VP/Market Manager for the company's Spokane cluster.

CCM+E-Cincinnati launches a Modern Rock simulcast of Rock WEBN's HD-2 signal on 100.7 and 106.3 FM. "The Project" is headed up by PD Casey Krukowski and is currently running jockless and commercial-free. CCM+E-Cincinnati President/Market Manager Chuck Fredrick says, "The Project fills the void in Cincinnati radio for a new Rock Alternative music station. Cincinnati now has a new Alternative voice which we are excited to offer to listeners on-air and to alternative music fans throughout the country on iHeartRadio." CBS Sports Radio announces that Boomer Esiason will play a key role in the upcoming Sports network’s programming when it launches in September on at least 90 stations nationwide.  The 14-year veteran and NFL MVP will deliver commentary and updates on the current headlines during the CBS Sports Minute. Additionally, Esiason will provide unique insight and opinion as CBS Sports Radio’s Senior NFL Analyst. Esiason will be heard weekday mornings near the top of the hour from 6-10 a.m. on CBS Sports Radio stations.

As rumored, the Minnesota Twins are moving their broadcasts from Sports KSTP-AM to Hot AC KTWN (96.3 K-Twin). K-Twin is a Northern Lights station and the broadcaster is owned by the Pohlad family, who also own the baseball team.

According to multiple reports, TuneCore CEO/President Jeff Price has exited the company he co-founded. Fellow co-founder Peter Wells has also left Tunecore, which helps artists sell their music digitally and manage their digital music rights.

SiriusXM Radio announces that former Chicago Bull Jay Williams will host an exclusive, new limited-run interview series on SiriusXM. Williams, who is currently a college basketball analyst for ESPN and was the 2002 National Player of the Year at Duke University, will host The Crossover with Jay Williams, scheduled to launch with a special episode on Friday, August 17 at 8:00 pm ET on Stars Too, channel 104. The Crossover with Jay Williams will be rebroadcast throughout the weekend. The debut show will feature Williams talking with Def Jam co-founder and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons. SiriusXM listeners will hear Simmons talk about hip-hop, politics, meditation and more.
