Jenni Sperandeo Promoted To President Of Dangerbird

Dangerbird Records and Dangerbird Publishing co-founder Peter Walker has announced the promotion of JenniSperandeo to President, and the departure of Dangerbird co-founder Jeff Castelaz and General Manager MattSolodky.
"After nearly 20 years in radio promotion, management and artist development, I am thrilled for the opportunity to step into this more comprehensive role at a rare, artist-driven enterprise," Sperandeo said.
"This is a great move for everybody involved," Walker said. "Dangerbird has always been about finding and nurturing great artists, and with Jenni’s talents leading the charge, the company’s future is brighter than ever."
Effective today, Castelaz and Solodky will exit Dangerbird to focus on Castelaz's management roster, which will re-launch under the banner of Cast Management, with clients including Dropkick Murphys and record producers TonyHoffer, Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Jacquire King. Dangerbird Records, Dangerbird Publishing and their affiliated recording studio were founded in 2004 by Walker and Castelaz.
Since joining the company in 2010, Sperandeo has played a pivotal role as Head of Promotion in the company’s breakout successes by Fitz and the Tantrums and Silversun Pickups, and is currently guiding new releases by Minus the Bear and Sea Wolf.
