CCM+E-Hudson Valley, NY Names Chris Marino Director Of Operations
September 20, 2012

Chris Marino
Clear Channel Media+Entertainment/Hudson Valley, NY names Chris Marino as Director of Operations for the ten station cluster. Market Manager Chuck Benfer comments, "Chris has done a great job over the past three years with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and has earned these stripes since taking the reins as the interim OM in July. Chris is a bright programmer and a great communicator. I am really happy that we were able to put this together with him. At the same time we have been able to acquire the talents of Terry O'Donnell to program Lite 92.1, 96.1 KISS FM and our 1450 & 1370 AM WKIP Newstalk Network. Terry has a proven track record of successes in the radio business and I believe that we are lucky to have a person with his abilities and experience on our team. There was a lot of interest in these positions and I was able to speak with a lot of great candidates; there's a lot of good talent available out there but in the end I am really happy to have Chris Marino and Terry O'Donnell on our side."

Marino adds, "It’s an exciting time for CCM+E of the Hudson Valley. My last three years here at the cluster has led to this amazing opportunity to work with Chuck and his sales team along with a bunch of the finest broadcasters in the industry to deliver top-notch entertainment and information for our listeners across our many platforms. All while building our business and providing solutions to grow the businesses of our client friends. I can't thank Chuck, Region Program Manager John Cooper, Region Market Manager Kristen Delaney, SVPP Jon Zellner and the great staff at CCM+E of the Hudson Valley enough for their support. In addition to overseeing the cluster, I will be the day to day PD of Country 107.3 & 99.3 WRWD/WRWB and Rock 93.3 WBWZ while, as Chuck mentioned, my right hand guy Terry will program and host afternoons on Lite 92.1 WRNQ and program 96.1 KISS FM WPKF and 1450 & 1370 WKIP Newstalk Network. I will also happily continue rockin’ the mic on the Hudson Valley Ride Home on 96.1 KISSFM!"

Earlier this week, O'Donnell was named PD of WPKF, WRMD and WKIP-AM.
