Janita "JJ" Jones is named morning show co-host of the Chino In the Morning show at Bicoastal Media CHR KDUK/Eugene. JJ will also take on promotion responsibilities for the Bicoastal Media-Willamette Valley station cluster.

AC KEZK-FM/St. Louis welcomes Steph Duran as the station’s midday personality, effective Monday, October 8.

Wayne Coy is appointed morning co-host, teaming with co-host Don Potter, at Hot AC KKIQ and AC KKDV/San Francisco.

Jack Broady, Director of Operations for RR Broadcasting-Palm Springs, is elevated to the GM post of the cluster.

Envision Radio Networks announces a new syndicated program, The Core, focusing on '90s Rock artists. Hosted by Meltdown and Steve Black of WRIF/Detroit, the show will focus on artists such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more.

Former FCC staffer Rick Kaplan is named EVP of Strategic Planning for the NAB. Kaplan will lead NAB's efforts related to spectrum and innovation policy. His first day is October 22. "We are delighted to announce the hiring of Rick Kaplan, whose credibility and integrity are well-recognized both at the Commission and in telecom circles in Washington," said NAB President/CEO Gordon Smith. "His expertise on spectrum issues will benefit broadcasters greatly as we work with policymakers to ensure a robust local television business for decades to come."
