Following their appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, Muse has expanded their North American tour plans for 2013. Last week, the band revealed just a handful of dates but now 21 concerts have been revealed, starting in San Diego on January 21 and running up to April 26 in Quebec City, Quebec.

Lady Gaga has been honored with the LennonOno Grant For Peace, for her work with the gay, lesbian and transgendered community. "Lady Gaga is one of the biggest living artists of our time," Yoko Ono said in a statement. "She is not only an artist, she is also an activist, using her art to bring better communication to the world. She is being acknowledged for her activism, and how her album Born This Way has widely changed the mental map of the world. And how it has made us deal with the future world, which happens to be here already." Gaga accepted the award and donation in person on Friday in Iceland, giving the donation to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

On Friday, Christina Aguilera tweeted the album cover for her upcoming record, Lotus. The cover, which brings to mind the famous Birth Of Venus painting, features a naked, glowing Aguilera emerging from a lotus flower. Lotus is due out November 13.

Coldplay has released the video for their single "Hurts Like Heaven," which also sets up the upcoming comic book series based on their album Mylo Xyloto. The comics mini-series will debut in February and the "Hurts Like Heaven" video introduces characters from the story. You can see the animated clip here.

Rockers 3 Doors Down and Daughtry have announced a co-headlining tour, with P.O.D. opening most dates. The tour begins in Tunica, MS on November 17 and winds up December 15 in Anaheim, CA.

The second edition of the Railroad Revival Tour has been derailed, as organizers announced the trek has been canceled. The tour was slated to bring Willie Nelson, Band Of Horses, John C. Reilly & Friends and Jamey Johnson to six cities across the U.S. on trains. Ticketholders will receive a full refund for the tour, which was slated to begin on October 20 in Duluth.

The members of Depeche Mode will hold a press conference in Paris on Tuesday, October 23, where the band "will be making an exciting announcement." The alt-rock veterans have been working in the studio on a new album, which will presumably be the focus of the press conference.

After recent headlines claiming Mike Love had "fired" Brian Wilson and other founding members from the Beach Boys reunion, Love has penned an explanation in the Los Angeles Times. Love writes that "I did not fire Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. I cannot fire Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. I am not his employer. I do not have such authority. And even if I did, I would never fire Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. I love Brian Wilson." He added, "Brian, Al and I signed an agreement outlining the beginning and end of the tour. Then, thanks to glowing reviews, the support of our loyal fans (and the prodding of promoters), we amended our agreement to add 25 more dates. As the year went on, Brian and Al wanted to keep the 50th anniversary tour going beyond the 75 dates. Like any good party, no one wanted it to end. However, that was impossible, given that we had already set up shows in smaller cities with a different configuration of the band -- the configuration that had been touring together every year for the last 13 years. Brian and Al would not be joining for these small market dates, as was long agreed upon. To avoid public confusion, and at the request of Brian’s representative, we had a press release sent out detailing the differences between the two Beach Boys tours and its varying lineups. I was surprised that Brian and Al said they were surprised by this announcement. Some media outlets interpreted all of this as me firing the band.
