Lara Thomas joins AC KLZK/Lubbock for afternoons replacing Lee Higginbotham who segues to weekends. Thomas will also assist in the programming department.

Coca-Cola is reportedly in negotiations to make a $10 million investment in digital music service Spotify. Sources tell Bloomberg that the talks are private and ongoing but an agreement could be reached in the coming weeks. Coca-Cola reached a deal in April to add Spotify to its Internet marketing, after a successful music industry partnership involving the 2010 World Cup anthem "Wavin' Flag" by K'Naan. Earlier this year it was reported that Spotify is seeking to raise $100 to $200 million from investors in a funding round that would value the company as high as $4 billion.

Last night, Bob Pittman, CEO of Clear Channel and John Hogan, Chairman/CEO of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, sponsored a dinner at the 2012 ANA Masters of Marketing Annual Conference in Orlando. The event featured a special performance by Train. Photos from the event are below:
