Clear Channel Announces Multi-Platform Campaign For Taylor Swift's Red
October 19, 2012

John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises at
Clear Channel, Taylor Swift and Ryan Seacrest prep for the upcoming
iHeartRadio Album Release Party for
Swift's much anticipated new album, Red, in Los Angeles.
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announces the company will spotlight Taylor Swift's anticipated new album Red across its multi-platform network beginning Monday, October 22. The centerpiece of the campaign will be a Ryan Seacrest-hosted 25-minute iHeartRadio Album Release Party for Red. The event will air across Clear Channel radio stations on Monday, October 22, and will be available on demand at iHeartRadio.com. The on-air special will be followed by two weeks of exclusive content spotlighted across Clear Channel’s Country, Mainstream CHR, AC and Hot AC stations.

The on-air special will coincide with the release of Swift’s fourth album Red and will feature an exclusive interview by Seacrest with songs and clips from her new album, followed by Swift’s personal stories and insights behind her music.  The iHeartRadio Album Release Party will air beginning 4 p.m. on October 22. Swift will also introduce featured songs from the album across Clear Channel’s radio stations throughout the day leading up to the iHeartRadio Album Release Party.

In addition to the Seacrest special, Clear Channel will activate its Artist Integration Program (AIP) across four formats beginning October 22, featuring eight of Taylor Swift’s newest tracks. This AIP will include a series of on-air spots with Taylor Swift that will drive listeners online to access exclusive extended interviews and video content. Fans will also have instant access to download Swift’s newest album Red.

Now through November 9, all Clear Channel CHR stations will also offer listeners the chance to text-in-to-win the "24 Hour Dream Life" contest. One lucky winner and three friends will be flown on a private jet to join Swift for a behind the scenes tour of her new show, front row concert seats at two of her tour stops, a backstage meet and greet with Swift and a signed guitar. Beginning in the first quarter of 2013, Clear Channel Country stations will also offer a similar once-in-a-lifetime experience for its listeners.
