CBS Radio-New York says goodbye to the WXRK call letters that were joined with CHR 92.3 Now after 27 years in favor the new calls WNOW.

At Cox Radio-Orlando, Steve Demann rises to OM of CHR/Rhythmic WPYO and Country WWKA. Demann will continue to handle middays at WPYO. Additionally, Cox ups APD Hildi Schenck to PD at Adult Hits sister WMMO and elevates WWKA afternoon talent JR Schumann to PD.
 
AC WRMM/Rochester is slated to flip to all Christmas on November 16 and carry on with holiday tunes until December 29.

AC WTRV/Grand Rapids has switched to all Christmas reports the Grand Rapids Press.

Non-comm Triple A KCSN/Los Angeles has named David Kleinbart to the Director Of Underwriting post. Kleinbart previously spent 12-years as Sr. Director Of Underwriting at cross-town competitor, non-comm Triple A KCRW/Los Angeles.

Online Modern Rock station RadioBDC announces its new lineup of specialty programming, with eight new shows launching. FMQB offers condolences to the family and friends of longtime Cleveland-based promotion vet Doug Hamman who passed away on Tuesday (11/6) following a heart attack. Hamman's career began in the late 70s working at ABC/Dunhill. He would go on to work at Epic, CBS, Island and Jive Records. He is survived by his wife Sandy, daughters Jesse, Sarah and son Jamie. A prayer service will be held at Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home, 8150 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH on Saturday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil Church at 11 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 2- 4p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
