Soundgarden Announces Winter Tour Dates

Soundgarden has announced a winter 2013 North American tour in support of their new album, King Animal, which drops on November 13. The band will be doing two-night engagements in a number of cities, including their hometown of Seattle. Fan Club pre-sales begin on Monday, November 12 and tickets go onsale to the general public starting on Friday, November 16.

Soundgarden have also released a music video for the single "Been Away Too Long," which is available to watch on VEVO here. The video was directed by the bands' art director, Josh Graham.

Meanwhile, fans should keep an ear out for FMQB's one-hour radio special, Inside Soundgarden: King Animal, airing on Rock stations nationwide from November 11 to 18. The special is hosted by Matt Pinfield as he sits down with Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron to discuss the new album and the band's reunion, as well as premiere a slate of new songs.

January 22 and 23 - New York
January 25 and 26 - Toronto
January 27 - Detroit
January 29 and 30 - Chicago
February 1 - Milwaukee
February 2 - Minneapolis
February 6 - Portland
February 7 and 8 - Seattle
February 10 - Vancouver
February 12 and 13 - Oakland
February 15 and 16 - Los Angeles
