Kevin Cruise is named APD/afternoon host at Clear Channel Rhythmic simulcast WWVA & WWLG/Atlanta. Cruise, who joins after 12 years at Rhythmic KUUU/Salt Lake City, replaces the recently exited David "Joe Breezy" Armbrecht.

Clear Channel-Raleigh launches WDCG-HD2 as Modern Rock "95X, Raleigh's New Rock Alternative." Cluster OM Chris Edge is programming the station and hosting afternoons.

Jimmy “J.D.” Gonzalez is tapped as PD for CBS Radio’s KMVK-FM (MEGA 107.5)/Dallas-Ft. Worth and VP of Spanish Programming, CBS Radio for effective immediately. Most recently, Gonzalez spent six years as SVP of Programming at Univision Communications in Dallas. Prior to that, he held programming and operations positions with Univision and Hispanic Broadcasting at stations in Houston and San Antonio. 

APD/MD/midday host Lee Roberts exits Classic Rock KRXO/Oklahoma City after two decades at the station.

AC KEZK (Fresh 102.5)/St. Louis becomes the latest station to go all-Christmas.

CBS Sports Radio announces Damon Amendolara as host of the network’s weekday overnight show. His new program, The D.A. Show, which will debut Wednesday, January 2, 2013, upon the launch of the network, will be heard on select stations from 2-6:00 a.m., ET on-air, streaming online and through the Radio.com application for mobile devices.

Best Buy and Premiere Networks announce they have extended their multi-platform Sixx Sense Rock promotion, a curated by Nikki Sixx’s national radio show Sixx Sense. Beginning November 18, a Sixx Sense branded mini-magazine will be added to the Sixx Sense Rock displays in 700 Best Buy stores across the country. Sixx Sense The Magazine will feature more than 40 pages of exclusive content from the radio show, new interviews with Nikki Sixx, Kerri Kasem, Rock musicians and more. The magazine will also be available for purchase on www.BestBuy.com starting November 19 through the end of 2012.

Live Nation Entertainment promotes Jeremy Joseph to Managing Director of Live Nation Merchandise International, as well as President of Artist Relations for the company's global merchandise division.

Viacom has announced its fiscal fourth quarter results, with net income up 12 percent to $643 million and revenue down 17 percent to $3.36 billion. The media company has been attempting to turn around sinking ratings for its TV properties, including MTV and Nickelodeon, but the biggest revenue drop came from Paramount Pictures, which only released one movie in the quarter: Katy Perry's concert film Part Of Me.
