Justin Bieber
An unusual murder plot targeting Pop star Justin Bieber has been uncovered in Albuquerque. KRQE-TV reports that two men had been making plans to stalk and murder Bieber at Madison Square Garden. A third man was then enlisted in the plot, who had ordered "the murder and castration of Bieber and his bodyguard." KRQE reported that this third man, Dana Martin, is obsessed with Bieber and has a tattoo of the Pop singer on his leg. However, Martin then tipped off police about the plot, which led to the arrest of Tanner Ruane, one of the original men involved, in New York.

In better Bieber news, he has been added to the lineup of performers for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC. The West Coast party will feature Bieber, PSY, Ellie Goulding, The Wanted, Jason Aldean and Greyson Chance. Already on board for the annual New Year's Eve special are Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Neon Trees, Fergie, Brandy, Flo Rida, Karmin, OneRepublic and Pitbull.

Adele and birthday girl Taylor Swift are among the nominees for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Adele's Bond theme "Skyfall" and Swift's "Safe & Sound" from The Hunger Games soundtrack are up for Best Original Song, along with Jon Bon Jovi's "Not Running Anymore" from the as-yet-unreleased movie Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban's "For You" from Act Of Valor and "Suddenly," a new song written for Les Miserables.

VEVO has announced that "Call Me Maybe" from Carly Rae Jepsen was the music service's most viewed video of 2012, with over 360 million views through the site. One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" was the #2 video, followed by Pitbull f/Chris Brown with "International Love," Jennifer Lopez f/Pitbull and "Dance Again" and Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend."

Paramore
More details have been announced about Paramore's upcoming, self-titled record. The album is due out April 9, 2013 via Fueled By Ramen. The band's fourth studio record is their first as a trio and was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnson (Tegan and Sara, M83). The lead single is titled "Now." Paramore will be on tour in Southeast Asia and Australia in February and March, with more extensive touring expected throughout 2013.

The Killers have postponed tonight's Camden, NJ concert due to illness. Last month, the band canceled a few shows in London after singer Brandon Flowers lost his voice four songs into a concert due to a sore throat.

The Jonas Brothers have announced a 2013 tour of Latin America, with dates in Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Guatamala in February and March.

The Airbourne Toxic Event have announced the first leg of a spring tour of North America. After a handful of winter shows in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles, the band will kick off their trek in San Diego on March 30, with dates announced up to April 11 in San Francisco. The Airbourne Toxic Event is expected to release their third album in the spring of 2013.

The Dirty Heads and Shiny Toy Guns will head out on a co-headlining tour, starting in Dallas on February 15 and winding up March 8 in Ft. Collins, CO.
