Eric Chase joins CHR WVKS/Toledo for PD/afternoon duties. Chase tells FMQB, "I've known OM Nathan Reed for over ten years and even when we competed against one another we maintained a good friendship with a positive and at times esoteric exchange of philosophies. It's exciting to be able to pair those philosophies with creative, inventive strategies as teammates now." Chase, who most recently held a similar post at Sports WDFN-AM/Detroit, replaces Dave "Boomer" Mazur who took the MD post at CHR/Rhythmic WJMQ/Madison. Prior to that, Chase held the PD seat at CHR WAEB/Allentown.

Sandusky Radio-Seattle ups Maynard to OM of the cluster. Maynard was previously PD of CHR KQMV (MOViN 92.5) and Hot AC KLCK. He will report to cluster VP/GM Marc Kaye.

At Rhythmic CHR WHZT (Hot 98.1)/Greenville, SC, Eric Sean Casucci exits as APD/night host. He plans to move back to California and is seeking new opportunities.

Gene & Julie exit mornings at AC KVIL/Dallas after eight years as their contract was not renewed. Tony Zazza will handle mornings until a replacement is found.

AC KOSF/Fresno names Dave Thomson as its new morning show host.

Jeff Morad

Modern Rock WEQX/Manchester, VT-Albany promotes Jeff Morad to APD.  Jeff has been morning show host at EQX since 2009 and MD since 2010. PD Amber Miller says, "Jeff has a super positive and upbeat attitude, and his work ethic is stellar. He’s a riot to listen to on the air every morning, and a pleasure to work with every day. Can I be honest? We’d be so screwed without him. He’s more than earned these APD stripes."

At Modern Rock KFMA/Tucson, station vet "Creepy Pete" McNair is promoted to MD/midday host. Pete was previously the station's night jock, as well as host of the specialty "Test Department" show.

Dan Thomas exits Classic Rock KKBZ (105.1 The Blaze)/Fresno, where he served as PD and afternoon driver.

Urban Oldies KDAY/Los Angeles promotes afternoon driver PJ Butta to mornings, replacing the team of Cecilia "Cece" Valencia & Tattoo. Meanwhile, DJ Dense and Classic 1 take over afternoon drive.

Natalie DiPietro is leaving as Director/Branding & Promotion at Entercom-Milwaukee on Friday (1/4) to become the Integrated Marketing Sales Manager at crosstown Clear Channel Media & Entertainment-Milwaukee. DiPietro begins he new gig on Monday (1/7).

The Conclave is seeking nominees for its annual lifetime achievement award, The Rockwell Award.
