Quick Hits: Justin Timberlake, The Grammys, Lady Gaga, The Black Keys, Depeche Mode, The Flaming Lips, Calvin Harris, The Mars Volta, Fleetwood Mac, Primavera festival, Middle Class Rut, Eve, Lollapalooza

Justin Timberlake has revealed his long-awaited comeback record The 20/20 Experience will be out March 19. JT also released a lyric video for his new single "Suit & Tie," which can be seen below:

Jack White, The Lumineers and Carrie Underwood have all been added as performers for the 2013 Grammy Awards on February 10. Additionally, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will duet with Elton John, while Country acts Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert will team up as well. The Black Keys, fun., Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and Taylor Swift were all previously announced as Grammy performers.

Lady Gaga has apparently confirmed she is recording a long-rumored Jazz-influenced album with Tony Bennett. Gaga tweeted a picture of her onstage with Bennett, adding, "And here's me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he's my darling!" Gaga performed at President Obama's Staff Ball on Tuesday, dueting with Bennett on "The Lady Is A Tramp."

The Black Keys
The Black Keys are going back to court to sue Pinnacle Entertainment, who run the L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles in Louisiana and Manhattan Production Music, which makes music for commercial advertisement.  Their claim is that the company ran an advertisement last September for the L'Auberge Casino that used music that was "substantially similar" to their song "Howlin' For You." The duo's claim also states that the company used "infringing music" in another ad for the casino ran the month after. A representative from the casino said that, "We bought a licensed musical interpretation of the song," and stated that the song in question is "a licensed track inspired by 'Howlin' for You' by the Black Keys." Rolling Stone reports that the band also claims "the defendants broke trademark law by providing a false designation of origin and creating unfair competition for the band." The Black Keys settled in similar infringement lawsuits against Pizza Hut and Home Depot last year for having used versions of their songs "Gold On The Ceiling" and "Lonely Boy" in advertisements.

Depeche Mode will release their 13th studio record, Delta Machine, on March 26 via Columbia. Singer Dave Gahan said in a statement, “With this release we’ve completely shifted our idea of how to create an album. When we hit a wall where we realize the album is beginning to sound too normal, we’ll mess it up and really give it that organic Depeche Mode Sound. Delta Machine is no different, and I can’t wait for all of our fans to hear it.” The lead single "Heaven" will be released on February 5, with its video debuting on February 1. Currently the band has extensive tour dates around the world for the spring and summer, with North American dates expected soon.

The Flaming Lips have announced their 13th studio album, The Terror, will be released on April 2. Lips main man Wayne Coyne says, "Why would we make this music that is The Terror - this bleak, disturbing record? I don't really want to know the answer that I think is coming. Maybe this is the beginning of the answer."

Calvin Harris’ single "Sweet Nothing" (featuring Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine) has been certified Gold by the RIAA for selling more than 500,000 copies. The "Sweet Nothing" music video, featuring both Harris and Welch, has garnered over 26 million views. Harris is up for two Grammys next month: Best Dance Recording for "Let's Go" featuring Ne-Yo and Best Short Form Music Video for Rihanna's "We Found Love."

After a 12-year long run, prog rockers The Mars Volta have split up. The breakup was announced via several posts on singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala's Twitter page. Bixler-Zavala thanked all the fans of The Mars Volta for their support, saying "All I can do is move forward with my music and just be happy that mars volta ever happened at all. God Damn we had a blast. Thank u again." The band originally announced a "hiatus" late last year. Guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López has been focusing his time on his many side projects, including a new one, Bosnian Rainbows, featuring Terri Gender Bender of Le Butcherettes.

Fleetwood Mac has added 13 more dates to their 2013 tour, including a second show in Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles. New shows have also been announced in June and July for Cleveland; Charlotte; Des Moines; Portland, OR; Wantagh, NU; Spokane; Sacramento; Albany and Montreal.

The Primavera music festival, held in Barcelona, has released its official lineup. Included in the massive festival lineup are: The Postal Service, Blur, My Bloody Valentine, Wu-Tang Clan, Phoenix, Fiona Apple, Hot Chip, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear and many, many more. The festival is slated to run from May 22-26.

Middle Class Rut is finishing up their new album Pick Your Head Up, set for release on May 21. The album is the follow up to their 2010 album No Name No Color, which featured the top five Modern Rock single "New Low." Middle Class Rut drummer Zack Lopez describes the new record as "an evolution of a lot of ideas we had as the writing for No Name No Color was winding down. I think we exhausted what we could do in the confines of just drums/guitars/vocals. Once we embraced the idea that anything goes, the songs poured out."

Rapper/actress Eve has announced the release of her fourth studio album after an eleven-year hiatus. She tells Billboard, "You can officially expect Lip Lock on May 14."  The Grammy winning artist is releasing the album under her own independent label, FTR Music (From the Ribs Music).  She recently released the music video for her new single "She Bad Bad" on January 8. Eve said that the album will have a different style to it than what her listeners are used to from previous albums, saying, "It's everywhere. There's some club stuff on there, there's some mid tempo stuff, there's some slow stuff on there," and added, "It's not the sound that people are used to." Lip Lock will include featured guests such as Snoop Dogg, Chrisette Michele, Pusha T and Juicy J.

Lollapalooza is no longer set to be held in Tel Aviv, Israel. The festival was originally planned to take place August 20-22, though the Los Angeles Times reports that the organizers had "issues recruiting top-billed artists in addition to facing financial and production setbacks in setting up the festival in Yarkon Park." A spokesman stated that this was more so a postponement rather than a cancelation, however, the festival's website is now offline. Lollapalooza will still be held throughout the world in Santiago, Chile and São Paulo, Brazil after it is held in Chicago in August.
