Suzy Garcia is added to AC WJYB/Albany's B95.5 Breakfast Club with Bill Fox.

Premiere Networks announces an exclusive distribution agreement with internationally renowned radio personality Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton. Effective February 1, 2013, Premiere Networks will syndicate Hamilton’s trio of programs – The Remix Top 30 Countdown with Hollywood Hamilton, Weekend Top 30 with Hollywood Hamilton and Weekend Top 30 with Ramiro.  The popular radio shows will also be heard on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app. 

While Modern Rock WSUN (97X)/Tampa has moved to an all-listener-controlled format, the entire airstaff is remaining at Cox Media Group's Tampa cluster. As previously reported, the station's morning team is staying with the cluster: Seth Kushner will be producing another show elsewhere in the CMG-Tampa cluster, Danielle McBroom will still be the station "face" of 97X and Drew Garabo will remain at sister Talker WHPT (102.5 The Bone) but handling a longer airshift. Additionally, 97X afternoon host Fisher moves to The Bone for overnights, while 97X night jock Geo also joins The Bone as night co-host with Spice.
     In related news, Listener Driven Radio reports that since 97X's switch, social media data on the station has seen a major increase. The station has recieved 1.7 million Facebook votes (4 votes per second in prime time); 300,000 unique voters online; 17,300 mobile app downloads; 178,700 mobile user sessions; one Open Mic song introduction requests every three minutes and 97X now has the third most Facebook likes in Tampa radio.

Jennifer Perry is named PD at News WYAY/Atlanta. Perry previously was an air talent at Talk WGST-AM/Atlanta and News Director at Talk WLAC/Nashville.

Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. has announced that talent buyer Brian Smith will join North American Concerts’ Southern California office. Smith will program venues in Los Angeles and across the Southland. He will also collaborate with Live Nation’s Southern California booking team to develop new regional events for the company. Smith previously booked The Troubadour, including the venue’s landmark 50th Anniversary event with Carole King and James Taylor, Prince’s 2010 residency and special shows by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure and more.

Entertainment news TV show Dish Nation, which focuses on various morning radio shows as they deliver celebrity gossip, has been renewed for a second season. Twentieth Television is expected to make the announcement about the renewal at the NATPE convention this week, according to TV News Check. Dish Nation is currently averaging 1.3 million viewers, up 18 percent from 1.1 million when it debuted in September.

Verity Gospel Music Group will now be known as RCA Inspiration. As previously stated, RCA Inspiration will now be headed up by GM Geo Bivins. Bivins retains the title of SVP, Urban Promotion, RCA Records. In addition, Stanley Brown is promoted to Head of A&R and Cheryl Marks is promoted to VP of Marketing. All will remain in the company’s New York headquarters.

Radio One has announced that the broadcaster's stock has regained NASDAQ compliance. According to a filing with the SEC, Radio One received a letter from NASDAQ last week saying its Class D shares "had regained compliance with NASDAQ's minimum bid price listing requirements and were in good standing on The NASDAQ National Market.  The letter received from NASDAQ on January 24, 2013 stated that because the Class D shares closed above the $1.00 minimum bid price for the 10 consecutive trading days ended January 23, 2013, the Company had regained compliance and the matter was now closed."
