More performers have been added for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, which will take place on February 10. Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 will join together for a special performance, and Frank Ocean will play as well. Ocean is up for six awards at the show, while Maroon 5 is nominated twice. Previously announced performers include Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, The Black Keys, Fun., The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Jack White, as well as Elton John and Ed Sheeran performing live together for the first time, and Justin Timberlake making his first live TV music performance in seven years. LL Cool J returns as host of the show.
In other Grammy news, CBS has announced it will air a one-hour special next Saturday, February 9, looking back at how Whitney Houston's death affected the 2012 Grammys. The Grammys Will Go On: A Death In The Family goes behind the scenes of last year's Grammys, which took place less than 24 hours after the Pop superstar's passing.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have achieved a rare feat with their single, "Thrift Shop." The song remains at the top spot of the Nielsen SoundScan Digital Songs chart for the second consecutive week, as well as the #1 song on Spotify for the second consecutive week, and #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for the second consecutive week. Only one other song – Bruno Mars’ "Locked Out Of Heaven" – has reached the top of all three charts in the same week.

"Weird Al" Yankovic will unveil the 2013 Bonnaroo lineup live via YouTube. The announcement of the Bonnaroo lineup will be a three-hour online event, hosted by Yankovic at a date yet to be revealed. The streaming event will also include video of classic Bonnaroo performances, live in-studio appearances and more. Bonnaroo 2013 is slated for June 13-16 in Manchester, TN. You can see "Weird Al"'s announcement video below:

Lady Gaga has not revealed a release date for her forthcoming third album, ARTPOP, but she is in the studio toiling away. On Tuesday, she tweeted a picture of herself in giant glasses and a large hat with the message: "Don't worry. Nerdface Killah is studio stuntin. Man I love making records." Gaga added: "And when I tell you the album release date, I suggest you plan a party with your friends. Maybe I will too."

Miley Cyrus has inked a deal with RCA Records and the singer will release a new album later in 2013. Among the collaborators on the album will be producers like Dr. Luke, Pharrell Williams and Hit-Boy. Cyrus also recruited Tyler, the Creator to make a cameo on a track that she wrote with Mary J. Blige. "I wrote this song with Mary J. Blige, and Tyler, the Creator heard it and said, 'I am obsessed with this song, and I will guest on it if you promise me that you will keep it on the album.' And he killed it! I really didn't want to make a hip-hop record, and I'm not trying at all to be a Rihanna or a Nicki [Minaj]....That's not my vibe," she told Seventeen about the collaboration. "When I was growing up, my older brother would sneak me Nelly CDs, my dad had me listening to Dolly [Parton] and Johnny [Cash], and my mom is a complete metal head. So this record is a weird mixture of all that."

Producer and rapper Timbaland has signed with label/management company Roc Nation. A message across the top of www.rocnation.com reads simply: "We would like to welcome Timbaland to the Roc Nation family," along with a photo of Tim, who is known for his work with Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott and many others. It is unclear in what capacity he will work with Roc Nation.

Buzz band Alabama Shakes has been tapped as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live on February 16 episode, Deadline reports. Django Unchained co-star Christoph Waltz will serve as host that night. The show will air just after the February 10 Grammy Awards, where Alabama Shakes is nominated for Best New Artist.

How To Destroy Angels has debuted the Shynola-directed music video for "How long?," the first single off their debut LP Welcome Oblivion, which is due on March 5 via Columbia Records. The video can be seen at www.NPR.org. Meanwhile, the vinyl edition of Welcome Oblivion will feature two exclusive songs entitled "The province of fear" and "Unintended consequences" and also comes with a white label version of the vinyl release on CD.

The 5th annual Revolver Golden God Awards, honoring the best in Hard Rock and Metal, will be held on Thursday, May 2 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The show will be hosted by WWE star and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho, with performances by Metallica, Anthrax, Stone Sour, Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm and Dillinger Escape Plan, with more to be announced. Metallica also will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while Rob Zombie will get the 5th Annual Golden God Award and Tony Iommi will be honored as the "Riff Lord."
