Veteran Los Angeles air talent Uncle Joe Benson joins Classic Rock KSWD (100.3 The Sound)/Los Angeles for mornings replacing the recently departed Larry Morgan and Sheri Donovan. Benson, who joins from crosstown Rocker KLOS, will debut Uncle Joe's Rock & Roll Morning Show on February 4.

 
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment-Raleigh announces that George Allen has been named Market Manager, effective immediately. As Market Manager, Allen is responsible for the entire Raleigh market’s operations including all strategies, programming and sales initiatives. Allen joins the Raleigh cluster from Clear Channel-Cleveland, where since 2009 he has served as Director of Sales and was later appointed Captain
of the Automotive Category for all of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. 

Cumulus-Atlanta is teasing some changes to its Rock stations. Rock WNNX (Rock 100.5) has been saying "Two great things will become one," while Active Rock WWWQ-HD2 (98.9 The Bone) is claiming "big changes" are coming. The Atlanta Constitution-Journal's Rodney Ho suggests Rock 100.5 could skew younger and pull back on its Classic Rock, while The Bone flips to another format. Axel Lowe, PD for The Bone, has confirmed to FMQB that the two stations will be merging on 100.5 as of tomorrow morning. Lowe will also serve as PD/afternoon host on the new 100.5. The change is expected to be revealed at 10 a.m. on Friday. The fate of 98.9 is still unknown. Developing...

Philadelphia-based Internet Modern Rocker Y-Not Radio announces a partnership with iRadioPhilly. The station will stream as part of the iRadioPhilly website, as well as its iPhone and Android mobile apps.

Entravision Communications Corporation changes the name of Lotus Entravision Reps to Entravision Solutions to better reflect the company's focus on providing advertisers and marketers with a "comprehensive multi-media platform to reach Latino audiences and communities."

Former Radio Disney VP/Programming Ray De La Garza is named GM of 2101 Records. De La Garza will report to 2101 Chairman/CEO RedOne.

SiriusXM Radio taps Martha Stewart to host Martha Live, a daily radio show airing from noon to 2 p.m. ET weekdays. The show, which will air on SiriusXM Stars beginning February 19, and will also be replayed from 7-9 p.m. Martha Live will also be heard on a new Martha Stewart channel on SiriusXM Internet Radio.
