Confirmed performers include Mumford & Sons, The Postal Service, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Vampire Weekend, The xx, The Lumineers, Arctic Monkeys, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Cake, Primus, Empire Of The Sun, Imagine Dragons, Bloc Party, Dropkick Murphys, and a staggering 103 other artists. The full lineup is available on their website. Tickets go on sale February 9 at 10:00 AM.

The 2013 Sweetlife Festival has also announced its lineup, happening May 11 in Columbia, MD at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Performers include Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Passion Pit at the top of the bill. Others include Kendrick Lamar, Gary Clark Jr., Solange, Youth Lagoon, Holy Ghost!, MS MR, and Robert DeLong. The full lineup is available here. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8.

Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime show was seen by an average of approximately 104 million. Billboard and Nielsen report that the halftime show was one of the most-seen parts of Sunday's game, which turned out to be the third most-watched program ever on television. Last year, Madonna's halftime performance was seen by around 112.5 million viewers, topping Bruce Springsteen's previous record of 95.7 million in 2009. Sources also tell Billboard that Beyoncé and Destiny's Child's music saw a massive jump in digital sales following the game, as her solo music sales were up by over 230 percent, while Destiny's Child's catalog saw an increase of over 600 percent in sales.

Alongside the 13th annual BET Awards, the three-day concert entitled the BET Experience will take place June 28-30 at the Los Angeles Staples Center and adjacent L.A. Live entertainment complex. Beyoncé will be headlining the first night at the Staples Center. The second night will feature Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, and Schoolboy Q. R. Kelly and New Edition will finish off the Experience on night three. Three-day passes and single-day tickets go on sale February 11, available on the festival's website.

Black Sabbath will reportedly tour North America this summer, according to an interview with bassist Geezer Butler. Metal Insider reports that while being interviewed by Eddie Trunk at NAMM, Butler said, "We start at the end of April in New Zealand, then we go to Australia, then Japan. June, we’ll be promoting the album, then July and August [is] U.S.A. Then October is South America and Europe in November and December." Butler also said that he expects touring drummer Tommy Clufetos behind the kit when Sabbath hit the road. Rage Against The Machine's Brad Wilk drums on the upcoming Sabbath album 13. However, Butler also said that "I think Brad‘s got commitments with Rage Against The Machine," which has sparked rumors of Rage being active again in 2013.

In addition to Phoenix's appearance at Coachella, the Sweetlife Festival and the New Orleans Jazz Fest this spring, the band has set a handful of west coast shows for March and April. Phoenix has announced seven new shows in March and April, starting in Vancouver, BC on March 28. Their new album, Bankrupt!, is due out some time in April.

Elvis Costello, D'Angelo and Bettye LaVette have joined the lineup for a benefit Prince tribute show set for March 7 at Carnegie Hall. The Roots will serve as the house band for the night, which will raise funds for music education programs for underprivileged youths.

Following up a previous story, Morrissey has canceled two more dates on his North American tour because of medical reasons. The dates for February 9 and 10 in Las Vegas and Phoenix will be rescheduled pending the recovery from his bleeding ulcers and Barrett's esophagus. This makes a total of 12 dates postponed or canceled on this current tour. The tour is now scheduled to continue on February 12 in El Paso, TX until March 14.

After Arctic Monkeys play the Sasquatch! Festival on May 24, the UK rockers will play a handful of U.S. dates in late May. Five shows have been announced for Missoula, MT; Boise; Denver; Albuquerque and Dallas.

Now-defunct indie rockers Rilo Kiley will release a rarities collection, RKives, via bassist Pierre DeReeder's Little Record Company. Due out April 2, the 16-track set compiles outtakes, demos, remixes and more. Former Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis will be hitting the road with The Postal Service this year on their reunion tour.

Reg Presley, singer for '60s rockers The Troggs, has passed away at the age of 71. The Troggs were best known for their classic, raw Rock hit "Wild Thing." The Troggs had a handful of other hits, such as "Love Is All Around," which was famously covered by R.E.M. on their 1991 MTV Unplugged appearance. Presley was born Reg Ball and announced in January of last year he was retiring from music due to his struggle with lung cancer.
