Fall Out Boy
After Fall Out Boy rolled out plans for a reunion album and tour, Pete Wentz answered some fan questions on his website. He said of the band's hiatus: "We all needed a break. We toured non-stop for 7 years all over the world. There was no real plan with it. We needed to figure ourselves out in being creative and our personal lives. We never thought it would end up being as big of a deal as it was." When asked what fans can expect from the new album, Save Rock & Roll, which is due May 7, Wentz explained, "Its the best album we've ever made. It doesn't sound like the other FOB albums, but it sounds exactly like Fall Out Boy in 2013." Wentz also added that, "The music had to be right first, its all about the music. There was no other part driving this. About 9 or 10 months ago Patrick [Stump] and I wrote a few songs - they didn't feel right, so we kept our heads down and went about other projects. When we got together more recently we felt like we had written a few of the most compelling and heartfelt songs Fall Out Boy has ever written."

Mumford & Sons have announced the details of this year's Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers, which will expand to a Friday night concert followed by an all-day Saturday event. Mumford & Sons will headline the Saturday show, alongside an eclectic roster of artists curated by the band. The outdoor events will take place in Simcoe, Ontario; Troy, OH; Guthrie, OK; and St. Augustine, FL in August and September, and the events will feature a host of acts including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Alabama Shakes, fun., The Vaccines, and many more to be announced.

Alicia Keys will provide the halftime entertainment at this year's NBA All-Star Game on February 17 in Houston. Keys is expected to do a medley of hits during her performance. Ne-Yo also has been tapped to sing during the All-Star Game player introductions, while John Legend will perform the National Anthem. On Saturday, February 16, Houston's Toyota Center will also be home to the All-Star Saturday Night, featuring competitions like the slam dunk contest and three-point challenge. Fall Out Boy will play their new single, "My Songs Know What You Did In The Day (Light Em Up)," at that event, while Ellie Goulding and Phillip Phillips also will perform.

The Hives, who are currently gearing up for a nationwide tour in support of P!nk, have just announced the addition of six headline dates throughout the tour. The intimate performances coincide with the 20th anniversary of the band's formation, and they will stop in San Diego, Anaheim, Austin, Indianapolis, Cleveland and New York City. The Hives will kick things off on February 13 in Phoenix, AZ with P!nk and the tour is set to run through March 28 in Boston.

David Bowie's Aladdin Sane will get the 40th anniversary reissue treatment on April 13 via Parlophone. The album will be remastered, although it won't come with any exclusive extras. Meanwhile, Bowie's forthcoming new album, The Next Day, is due on March 12.
