Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars announced his upcoming "Moonshine Jungle" word tour today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While no specific dates have been revealed yet, the North American leg of the trek will happen this summer, with Mars heading to Europe this fall. Ellie Goulding and Fitz & The Tantrums will open selected dates.

Jack White told Rolling Stone during Grammy weekend that he has been working on tunes for his next solo record. "I've got about 20 to 25 tracks I'm working on right now – a lot of songs," White tells Rolling Stone. "It's a good time for writing for me." White has been working with his all-male and all-female backing bands on the new songs, and added, "It's definitely not one sound. It's all over the place. After going out on the road with two bands, that a gigantic new family, my influences have just spread out even more." He continued, "I don't know if it'll come out this year or not," he adds. "The last one kind of came together so strangely, I was in the middle of making it and I didn't realize I was doing it, you know? I was just doing it because I needed to get these songs down and then I realized I was making a record."

Beyoncé will returning to the scene of her Super Bowl halftime show during her upcoming Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. She will be headlining one night of the 19th annual 2013 Essence Festival, held July 4-7 in New Orleans. Michelle Ebanks, President of Essence Communications, stated, "We are incredibly excited to welcome Beyoncé back to the 2013 Essence Festival line-up. She is truly the ultimate Essence woman," and added, "The Essence Festival features the best in music, culture, arts and entertainment – all of which Beyoncé captures through her extraordinary gifts." Beyoncé will also be sitting down with Oprah for an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET. The interview will be aired one hour before the debut of her HBO documentary, Beyoncé: Life is But a Dream.

Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo announced during Sunday's Grammys on the red carpet that he may become a new judge on The X Factor in the U.S. Ne-Yo has already been on the UK edition of the show and has previously appeared as a coach on NBC's The Voice. With the exit of previous judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, spots are open on the show, though nothing is promised for Ne-Yo. He mentioned to Extra, "I think it would be a great, great thing, I don’t want to talk too much about it, because I don’t want to get in no trouble," and added, "Conversations have been had, but that’s about it. If it happens, I’d be more then willing to do so. I feel like I’ve been around long enough to have some vital information for someone on the way up, definitely."

For Adele, it's more meetings than music. She told reporters backstage at the Grammys on Sunday that progress is slow on her untitled third album. "I'm not very far along at all," she admitted, according to Billboard. "I'm having lots of meetings. I've been in L.A. for the whole time since the [Golden] Globes, and I will be until the Oscars. I've been having lots of meetings. I've been out of the loop really. I've been singing my baby nursery rhymes, so I don't really know what's cool and what's not. I'm definitely going to visit Paul Epworth and stuff like that again." Adele recently gave birth to her first child on October 19, 2012; Epworth produced and co-wrote several tracks from her album 21, which was released two years ago.

Dave Grohl is bringing his all-star Sound City Players overseas, as they have announced a February 19 gig at The Forum in London. Thus far, the Sound City Players have performed two gigs, with their third set for New York City tomorrow night.

French indie-rockers Phoenix have set April 23 as the release date for their anticipated new album Bankrupt! The 10-song record will be out on Glassnote and features new songs including "Entertainment," "Trying To Be Cool," "The Real Thing" and "Oblique City."

After tying the record last week, Muse's single "Madness' now stands alone as the longest-running #1 song on Billboard's Alternative Songs airplay chart. "Madness" has spent 19 straight weeks at #1. Their 2009 single "Uprising" spent 17 weeks at #1.

As previously announced, "Weird Al" Yankovic will reveal the lineup of the 2013 Bonnaroo Festival online. In a new video, it is confirmed that next Tuesday, February 19 at noon ET, a one-hour YouTube special looking at previous Bonnaroo performances will stream, followed by the "Bonnaroo Line-Up Announcement Megathon" or "BLAM" at 1 p.m. ET. You can see the newest video starring "Weird Al" below:

Ke$ha, along with Ludacris and B.o.B., will be headlining the NBA All-Star weekend of festivities, performing at the Sprint Pregame Concert on February 17 in Houston, Texas. Their pregame performances start at 6 p.m. ET, with the 2013 NBA All-Star Game starting two hours after. Other musicians performing on the bill include Alicia Keys at the halftime show, Ne-Yo during player intros, and John Legend during the NBA All-Star Saturday Night on February 16.

"It all adds up to being the right time to share our story," said the Backstreet Boys. The boy band has given approval to a documentary on their career. But the documentary will not be some "3-D boy band puff piece," states director Stephen Kijak. Instead, it will be a "tell-all" of the band. The band stated, “We always wanted to make a film and now is the ideal time. With Kevin back, the fact that we are masters of our own destiny, [and] a new album in the works and our 20th anniversary..." Last summer the band reassembled in full to perform on Good Morning America, as well as launch a cruise to commemorate their 20th anniversary. The band has been keeping quiet about their new album, as they are currently in-studio with it, but they did release a new Christmas track back in November.

Rick Huxley, bassist and co-founder of Rock And Roll Hall of Famers the Dave Clark Five, has passed away at the age of 72. The BBC reports Huxley had been battling emphysema for years. The Dave Clark Five were part of the '60s British Invasion and known for hits such as "Glad All Over."
