The price tag for Cox Media Group's sale of radio stations to SummitMedia and Connoisseur has been revealed. SummitMedia is paying $66.25 million for CMG's radio properties in five markets. Meanwhile, Connoisseur will pay $40 million for CMG's stations in Southern Connecticut. The deal was announced earlier this week.

Industry vet Kevin Stapleford joins Slacker as Sr. Director/Programming. In his new role, he will oversee all efforts in content-development. Stapleford most recently was Director/Network Operations at Binational Broadcasting X1FM.com.

At AC WDOK/Cleveland, Jen Toohey and Tim Richards will partner up to host The New 02 Morning Show with Jen & Tim. For Richards, it's a move from Hot AC sister WQAL where he was midday host, and also APD/MD.

Doug Macaskill exits as Imaging Director of CHR WODS (103.3 AMP Radio)/Boston.

Mark Sanford is named Executive Producer at Adult Hits WHLK/Cleveland. Sanford previously served as APD at Adult Hits KJKK/Dallas.

Morning host Derek Kastener will exit Modern Rock KMYZ/Tulsa on February 28.

Modern Rock WRXL/Richmond afternoon drive host Michael Mason exits.

At Triple A KRVB (The River)/Boise, MD Tim Johnstone is promoted to PD.

Dees Entertainment is teaming with Right Way Music Group's Bob Catania to work on affiliate relations for Rick Dees and his company. Kevin Dees, President of Dees Entertainment's Content Development, said, "We are excited to bring Bob’s years of experience on board to work with us as we are expanding many areas of the company. Bob is still running Right Way Music Group but adding Dees as one of his clients allows us to take advantage of his experience dealing with radio. He will ensure that our affiliates receive the proper attention and will help us grow into new areas."
     Catania adds, "In today’s industry it is important to wear a variety of hats and working with the team at Dees is a “hat” that makes perfect sense for me. This alliance will allow me to continue my promotion services but add a new dimension to Right Way Music Group. With my promotion company I look to break artists and records…with Rick…I have an established hit artist with a long and successful track record of hits. I have admired Rick over the years as he has consistently delivered quality programming to his stations. I look forward to this new relationship."

Len Klatt exits the SVP/Director of Research post at Premiere Networks. Klatt was with the company for 16 years.

CBS announces it is trading programming and marketing for a minority stake in AXS TV, the cable channel owned by Mark Cuban, Ryan Seacrest Media and CAA. The Hollywood Reporter notes this programming could include elements of CBS' Grammy and other awards show coverage.

FMQB owner Kal Rudman has made a donation for new equipment to Havertown High School radio station WHHS (99.9 FM) in Havertown, PA. The station, which is one of the oldest high school FM stations in the country, will rename its studio after Kal and his wife, Lucille. There will be a dedication ceremony on Wednesday, February 20 to celebrate the donation and new studio name. 
     Kal says, "I consider a communications teaching program to be the same as any other vocational program. The ability to start at the high school level, including engineering, programming, and administration has enabled students at Haverford since the late 1940s to have a big edge in obtaining professional careers, both locally and around the United States."
