Doug Macaskill joins Rhythmic AC WTKK/Boston for Creative Services responsibilities. Macaskill previously was Imaging Director for CBS Radio-Boston.

Clear Channel Modern Rocker KDGE/Dallas announces the lineup for its 23rd Edgefest, set for Saturday, April 27 at FC Dallas Stadium. This year's lineup includes Phoenix, BushParamore, AWOLNATION, The Airborne Toxic Event, Fitz & The Tantrums, Atlas Genius, Deftones, Youngblood Hawke, The Gaslight AnthemRobert DeLong and more.
     Meanwhile, at sister CCM+E Modern Rock WRFF (Radio 104.5)/Philadelphia, the station's sixth birthday show lineup will feature Phoenix and Paramore as well, along with Silversun PickupsPassion Pit, The Airborne Toxic Event, Twenty One Pilots and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The concert is slated for May 12 at the Susquehanna Bank Center.
 
At NPR, SVP/Marketing, Communications and External Relations Dana Davis Rehm is exiting NPR after 12 years, effective May 6, and Director/Branding and Creative Services Kathie Miller is also leaving after 14 years, reports the Public Radio Program Directors blog. Both of the aforementioned positions are being eliminated with the reorganization of the marketing department as the Marketing, Branding, and Communications Division, under new Chief Marketing Officer Emma Carrasco.
 
Talk KZTK/Tyler makes the switch to bilingual CHR as "Power 93.3 FM."

Grace Blazer is named PD at Talk WIOD and Sports WINZ-AM/Miami.

At Classic Hits WJJK/Indianapolis, Steve Cannon exits as PD. Sister Cumulus Hot AC WRWM PD Jay Michaels adds oversight of WJJK as well.

Eastlan Ratings has added three new markets: Helena, MT; Homosassa Springs, FL and Sebring, FL. Service for these markets will start this Spring.

Dial Global has filed to suspend reporting to the SEC. Following this filing, Dial Global will not make reports on its finances to the SEC, aside from its upcoming report on the company's 2012 fiscal year. Dial Global made this move due to "the relatively limited historical volume of trading in the Company’s common stock and the applicable federal securities laws."
     In related news, it has also been revealed that now former co-CEO of Dial Global David Landau will receive $600,000/year for the next two years, following his exit from the company last week.

Mark Amines, the club DJ and record producer who helped give Madonna her big break, passed away last week of a reported "massive coronary." Kamins got Madonna's demo to Sire Records head Seymour Stein, which led to the future Pop superstar signing with the label. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Madonna said. "I'm very sorry to hear about Mark's death. I haven't seen him for years but if it weren't for him, I might not have had a singing career. He was the first DJ to play my demos before I had a record deal. He believed in me before anyone else did. I owe him a lot. May he Rest in Peace."

FMQB sends its condolences to the friends and family of Relapse Records Director of Sales & Marketing Pat Egan. Metal Insider reports Egan had been hospitalized in recent months after suffering complications from pneumonia. Egan had spent the last decade working for the Metal label, and previously spent time at KOCH Records, Energy Records and Pavement Records, among others.
