Mariah Carey

A new Mariah Carey song called "Almost Home" will hit the radio airwaves (as well as iTunes) on Tuesday. The track is from the movie Oz: The Great and Powerful, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 8. The song was co-written by Carey with Simone Porter, Justin Gray, Lindsey Ray and co-produced by Stargate. Carey is also working on a video with director David LaChapelle, which is expected to premiere in the coming weeks. "It's a feel-good record," the singer said in a statement announcing the tune. "It gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love."

In a new interview, Robert Plant appears open to reuniting with Led Zeppelin next year. Speaking to the Australian 60 Minutes, Plant said his fellow Zep members Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones "are Capricorns. They don't say a word. They're quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me. I'm not the bad guy ... You need to see the Capricorns – I've got nothing to do in 2014."

Dave Matthews Band will launch its 2013 summer tour at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX on May 17. The West Coast leg of the tour will include a return to The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA for Dave Matthews Band's traditional Labor Day weekend shows, and the trek is set to run through September 8 in Mountain View, CA.

Travis Barker won't be making the trip to Australia with Blink-182, since he is still terrified of flying after a plane crash nearly killed him in September 2008. "I'm sorry to announce I won't be joining Blink-182 on this Australian tour. I still haven't gotten over the horrific events that took place the last time I flew when my plane crashed and 4 people were killed, two being my best friends," Barker wrote on Facebook. "I hope to come to Australia again some day perhaps by ship if need be. Unfortunately, there wasn't a boat that worked with the schedule this time around." According to Billboard, Blink-182 has tapped Brooks Wackerman (Tenacious D, Suicidal Tendencies) to fill in on drums. The trio will kick off their Australian tour this Wednesday in Sydney.

David Bowie announced via Facebook that his next single, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," is coming on February 26. The single is off Bowie's forthcoming album, The Next Day, which arrives on March 12 via Columbia Records.

Morrissey has postponed three more U.S. dates on his current tour due to illness. The singer is being treated for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus, an injury which has already forced him to put off a string of shows. The new postponements include February 21 in Denver, February 22 in Salt Lake City and February 24 in San Francisco. Morrissey is now shooting for a return in San Diego on February 27.

Van Halen and Billy Joel will headline the new two-day Stone Music Festival in Sydney, Australia this April. Other acts confirmed for the event on April 20 and 21 include Buckcherry, Richie Ramone, Lifehouse and Kings of Chaos. This will mark Van Halen's first tour down under since 1998.

Country singer Mindy McCready was found dead on Sunday of an apparent suicide. Arkansas's Cleburne County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying that officers were dispatched to the 37-year-old singer's home after neighbors heard gunshots. "McCready was pronounced dead at the scene from what appears to be a single self-inflicted gunshot wound," the statement reads. "At this time family members have been notified of the incident. Ms. McCready will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the matter will be fully investigated." The singer was known for having a turbulent personal life and she appeared on the 2010 season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew

Rapper Meek Mill announces a North American headlining tour, kicking off in Boston on April 4 and winding up April 28 in San Francisco.
