Music industry legend Clive Davis has released his new autobiography, The Soundtrack Of My Life, in which the Sony Music executive discusses his extensive career and countless artists he has mentored over the years. Additionally, Davis discusses his bisexuality publicly for the first time ever. Davis appeared on ABC's Nightline last night to talk about the book as well as his personal life. However, according to Rolling Stone, this aspect of Davis' autobiography only takes up a few pages near the end of the book. The majority of The Soundtrack Of My Life focuses on his work with Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana and many others.

Davis released his first memoir, Clive: Inside The Record Business, in 1975, but the book has been out of print for years. He co-wrote The Soundtrack Of My Life with Rolling Stone's Anthony DeCurtis and devotes an entire chapter to Whitney Houston, including his attempts to help the late singer beat her addictions, including a one-on-one intervention.

Davis also reveals he was surprised that Milli Vanilli didn't actually sing on their album, and that he talked The Grateful Dead out of selling their albums directly to fans out of ice cream trucks.
