Morning host Baltazar exits Hot AC KZZO/Sacramento leaving co-host Nina Hajian to go it alone until a replacement is found.

Kris Abrams is named OM for Cumulus Media-Albuquerque and will also handle PD duties at Country KRST and Adult Variety KDFR, as well as having oversight of AC KMGA and CHR KKOB.

iHeartRadio announces its own SXSW showcase, featuring performances from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tegan and Sara, Atlas Genius and Josh Baze. iHeartRadio listeners will also be treated to an exclusive Austin 2013 digital station that highlights the music of emerging artists and bands attending SXSW 2013. Plus, Clear Channel Modern Rocker KYSR (98.7 FM)/Los Angeles will broadcast live from the 98.7 Broadcast Lounge at the Empire during SXSW. 
     Clear Channel will also host an official SXSW panel, "Navigating the Waters of Radio to Your Benefit," which will discuss the social relevance of radio and its importance to music discovery. The panel will be held Friday, March 16 will be moderated by Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms at Clear Channel, and will feature songwriter/producer RedOne; David Field, President/CEO of Entercom Communications; Daniel Glass, President/CEO of Glassnote Entertainment Group; and Peter Gray, SVP of Promotions at Warner Music Group. iHeartRadio's SXSW Showcase is set for­ Tuesday, March 12 at The Main, starting at 9 p.m.

Clear Channel announces it intends to offer, subject to market and customary conditions, $500 million in aggregate principal amount of priority guarantee notes due 2021 in a private offering that is exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The Notes will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed on a senior basis by CCfs parent, Clear Channel Capital I, LLC, and all of CCUfs existing and future wholly-owned domestic restricted subsidiaries. CC intends to use the proceeds of this offering together with the proceeds of borrowings under CCfs receivables based credit facility and cash on hand, to prepay all $847 million of loans outstanding under its term loan A facility and to pay fees and expenses in connection with the offering.

The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) announces its 2013 National Board of Directors. Kay Olin, President, Local Focus Radio, will serve as the National Chair. The 2013 Board will convene on January 25 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, for its first Board meeting and then will participate in judging the 2013 Gracie Awards on January 26 and 27.
