Sean Shannon is named VP/Market Manager for Entercom's Sacramento cluster. He joins from Entercom-Seattle, where he was Director Of Sales. Shannon will take over next week for John Geary, who retired after a 45-year career in radio.

Shannon is a 24-year radio veteran and has been with Entercom since 2009. Prior to that he had eight year stints with both Clear Channel and Fisher Broadcasting. He currently teaches a marketing course at the University of Washington’s Professional and Continuing Education Department, and he obtained his MBA from the Foster School at the University of Washington in 2009.
