Jaquay "Broadway Quay" Bangs exits the APD/midday post at CHR/Rhythmic WHHH/Indianapolis for the PD seat at Gold Coast Broadcasting/Point Broadcasting CHR KFYV/Oxnard-Ventura. Bangs will also assist VP/Programming and Broadcast Operations Brian "Big Bear" Davis.

At AC WMJX/Boston, morning show producer/co-host/news anchor Amanda Giles exits due to downsizing after 12 years with the station.

Cox brings the Modern Rock format back to Atlanta on Classic Hits WSRV's 97.1 HD-2 side channel, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution. WSRV's HD-2 channel had previously aired an Active Rock format.

Mimi Griswold is coming out of retirement to do afternoons 3-7pm on Classic Rock 96-9 WOUR/Utica, NY. Mimi’s career started in Utica 20 years ago at WOUR’s sister station 94.9 WKLL. She commented, "My CNY radio career started 20 years ago in Utica and it now has come full circle and I’m very excitied to be back on in Utica doing afternoons on 96-9 WOUR." She will continue to host her popular Sunday morning show "The Blue Moon Café" on  Sunday mornings.

Erik Kuselias will be heard in mornings and John Stashower will handle weeknights when NBC Sports Radio launches on April 1.

After two years, Rick Baran exits the EVP/CFO post at CCM&E.

Cox Media Group-Atlanta radio names Adam Wolfson as its new co-GSM of stations WSB-FM (B98.5), WALR (KISS 104.1 FM) and WSRV (97.1 FM The River), effective April 15.  Wolfson will partner with co-GSM Karyn Cerulli to lead the cluster’s sales teams in the Atlanta market. Wolfson most recently was CMG’s GSM for WBLI and WBAB/Long Island.

Journal Broadcasting has reported a 31 percent jump in revenue in its fourth quarter, up to $124.5 million. Net earnings increased by 83.6 percent to $15.1 million. Journal's Q4 2012 included two radio stations in Tulsa and a TV affiliate in Nashville that were not a part of the company's holdings a year prior. Radio revenue was up in Q4 to $22.1 million a 14.6 percent increase, while the overall broadcasting division revenue was up 52.9 percent to $77.9 million.

Music retailer Trans World Entertainment has reported a profit for the second year in a row, with $33.7 million in net income and $542.6 million in sales last year. Billboard.biz reports the company is hoping to open 20 new stores in its next fiscal year.

As part of its latest revamp, Facebook is adding a newsfeed tab solely for Music. The upcoming new design for Facebook's feed will divide content into categories, including music, with Mark Zuckerberg describing the new feed as "the best personalized newspaper" in yesterday's announcement.
