Justin Bieber has had a dramatic week in the UK. First, his 19th birthday party at a London nightclub allegedly went awry after allegations that he tried to sneak in an underage Jaden Smith. Then he got booed at his Monday night gig at the O2 Arena for coming on stage late. And finally, during Thursday's night's show, Bieber suffered from shortness of breath and collapsed during "Beauty and a Beat." He left the stage for about 20 minutes and was given oxygen by an EMT. Bieber recovered enough to finish his final four songs, and then went to a local hospital for further observation.
The Pop star later instagrammed a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed and wearing headphones, with the caption "gettin' better listening to Janice [sic] Joplin." Bieber is expected to perform the last of his four shows in London tonight. An early morning tweet from the arena read, "As things stand Justin Bieber is still set to perform the final night of his shows at the O2 this evening."
"Justin has been released from the hospital after a check-up and while he's feeling a little under the weather, he's planning on going ahead with tonight's show," a spokesman confirmed to Reuters.
After the U.K. gig, the singer is due to travel to Lisbon for two shows on March 11 and 12.
