Cox Media Group-San Antonio names Jeff Garrison as OM for the six station cluster. He will also serve as PD of Country KCYY. Garrison arrives from CBS Radio, where he was VP of Country Artist Relations and OM/PD for Country KMLE/Phoenix. His first day on the job is April 1. "I’m thrilled to have someone of Jeff’s caliber on our San Antonio team," said Dan Lawrie, CMG-San Antonio VP/Market Manager. "Jeff will have a positive impact and take our already strong brands to the next level."
Jhani Kaye, PD at Classic Hits KRTH and Smooth AC KTWV/Los Angeles, will be resigning effective June 30.
Clear Channel CHR WMRV (Star 105.7)/Binghamton gets the rebranding treatment and becomes WBNW (Now 105.7). The format and airstaff of the station remains in tact. The change ends almost 40 years for the heritage WMRV call letters, which were given by former station owner Merv Griffin.

Cox Media Group-Jacksonville appoints Eric Lauer to the GSM post for CHR WAPE, Modern Rock WXXJ and Urban Power 106.1. Lauer, who begins his new duties on March 25, arrives from the GSM post for Cox Media's six Athens, GA stations.
Arbitron has released a list of Social Media Do's & Don't's for radio stations, when it comes to Arbitron panelists and discussing station ratings online. According to Arbitron's Kim Myers, "The goal of having these guidelines is to preserve the integrity of radio ratings by following Arbitron’s guide to using social media. While these platforms create more personalized communication with listeners, social media can also lead to rating bias or rating distortion if not managed properly." Cherrytree Records Chairman Martin Kierszenbaum has renewed his relationship with Interscope Records. He will also remain as Sr. Executive of A&R for Interscope Records. Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG) has completed its acquisition of the existing Tooth & Nail recorded music catalog. This includes Tooth & Nail Records, BEC Recordings and Solid State Records. Capitol CMG will own and continue to develop products from Tooth & Nail’s extensive catalogs, marketing and distributing them through Capitol CMG Label Group and its catalog division.
