Arbitron has released a list of Social Media Do's & Don't's for radio stations, when it comes to Arbitron panelists and discussing station ratings online. According to Arbitron's Kim Myers, "The goal of having these guidelines is to preserve the integrity of radio ratings by following Arbitron’s guide to using social media. While these platforms create more personalized communication with listeners, social media can also lead to rating bias or rating distortion if not managed properly." The list can be found here in PDF format.

Cherrytree Records Chairman Martin Kierszenbaum has renewed his relationship with Interscope Records. He will also remain as  Sr. Executive of A&R for Interscope Records. "[Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman and CEO] Jimmy Iovine not only gave me the opportunity to start Cherrytree Records in 2005, but also the support, advice, and encouragement to sign progressive artists with a point of view and stick with them until they break," stated Kierszenbaum. "I'm not only deeply grateful to him, but also over the moon about the arrival of John Janick, one of the premiere record executives in the business, to the helm of Interscope Geffen A&M where I'm excited to begin this new chapter for Cherrytree."
