Lil Wayne

Various media reports have been circulating about Lil Wayne's health after the rapper was taken to the hospital on Friday. Initially it was reported that Wayne was in critical condition after suffering from seizures, and TMZ claimed that he was near death. That news was refuted by multiple members of Weezy's camp, and Young Money president Mack Maine blasted TMZ for figuratively trying to "kill a man before his time." The rapper's reps also told MTV News that "Lil Wayne is recovering." The only thing that is clear right now is that Wayne is in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, where Birdman, Drake and NBA star Chris Paul were all separately photographed leaving the hospital after a visit to Weezy.

Beyoncé has released the first new song from the sessions leading up to her fifth solo album, and it's called "Bow Down/I Been On." The gritty, harder-edged track is produced by Hit Boy, although there is no guarantee that it will make the final cut for her next album, which does not yet have a release date. Beyoncé offered the song to fans via her blog, www.iam.beyonce.com.

Love Lust Faith + Dreams, the new album from Thirty Seconds To Mars, will be released on May 21 via Virgin Records. The album was produced by Jared Leto with previous collaborator Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Rolling Stones) co-producing four of the 12 tracks. "This is more than an evolution, it's a brand new beginning," says Leto. "Creatively, we've gone to an entirely new place, which is exciting, unexpected, and incredibly inspiring." The single "Up In The Air" hit the radio airwaves this morning, and it will be available at all digital retailers on March 19. The iTunes pre-order for Love Lust Faith + Dreams will launch simultaneously, and fans who pre-order the album will instantly receive a download of "Up In The Air."

Will.i.am has set a new release date of April 23 for #willpower, the Black Eyed Pea's upcoming solo album for Interscope Records. A new single, "#thatPOWER" featuring Justin Bieber, was released today via iTunes, with a music video on the way in April. Will's collaboration with Britney Spears, "Scream & Shout," also appears on #willpower, which includes cameos from Lil Wayne, Diddy, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Scherzinger, Hit-Boy, Waka Flocka Flame and many others.

Filter will make their Wind-up Records debut with the release of their sixth studio album, The Sun Comes Out Tonight, on June 4.  Recorded in Los Angeles at Blue Room Studios with producer Bob Marlette, The Sun Comes Out Tonight follows 2010's The Trouble with Angels. The album was written and recorded by leader Richard Patrick and guitarist Jonny Radtke, as well as Marlette. The first single, "What Do You Say," will go to rock radio on May 7, but fans can get their hands on a free track right now by visiting
www.officialfilter.com. The free song is called "We Hate It When You Get What You Want" and it will be available for a limited time.

Atoms For Peace will embark on their first official U.S. tour this coming fall, following a handful of European dates over the summer. The band posted a handful of shows on its website, and those concerts will feature the album lineup of Thom Yorke, Nigel Godrich, Flea, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco. The confirmed dates run from September 24 in Philadelphia to October 17 in Santa Barbara.

Garbage will release the One Mile High…Live DVD and Blu-ray on May 28. This Garbage live concert film features all their classic hits like "Stupid Girl," "#1 Crush," "Special," "I Think I'm Paranoid," "Push It," "Only Happy When It Rains" and more. Bonus features will include the band's pre-show warm up routine and the official music videos for "Big Bright World" and "Blood For Poppies."

Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls will embark on a co-headlining tour throughout North America this summer. The tour will kick off on June 25 in Manchester, NH and run through August 18 in Mansfield, MA. Matchbox Twenty is touring in support of last year's North album while Goo Goo Dolls will release a new album, Magnetic, on May 7.

Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five and Guster will team up for a summer tour. Dates have been announced from June 17 in Dallas to July 30 in Brooklyn, NY. Dubbed the "Last Summer On Earth tour," the full list of tour dates can be found at lastsummeronearth.com.

Morrissey has decided to cancel all remaining dates on his North American tour due to ongoing health issues. The singer has been suffering from numerous ailments over the past few months, including a bleeding ulcer, Barrett's esophagus and double pneumonia. "Despite his best efforts to try to continue touring, Morrissey has to take a hiatus and will not be able to continue on the rest of the tour," reads a statement from the singer's camp. "Morrissey thanks all of his fans for their well wishes and thoughts."
