Loren Raye joins CHR WODS/Boston as co-host of The TJ Show with TJ Taormina. Raye comes on board from the Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show.

At CHR WIOQ/Philadelphia, night host Prolifik will now be known as Mike Adam, effective immediately.

Steve Masters returns to Modern Rock KITS/San Francisco for mornings, effective April 1. "Live 105 has a rich history in the Bay Area and Steve was a BIG part of making us who we are. To say I’m excited to hear him back on our air is an understatement. Journal Broadcast Group names Alvin Pritchard its new VP of Finance beginning April 1. Pritchard will have financial oversight of Journal Broadcast Group-owned and operated television and radio stations in 14 markets.

Arbitron announced today that Monica Narvaez has been appointed Hispanic Broadcaster Account Specialist. In this newly created role, Narvaez will focus on further strengthening the partnerships Arbitron maintains with its Hispanic broadcasting customers.

Social radio platform Jelli announces that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued U.S. Patent No. 8,392,206, "Social Broadcasting User Experience." This patent, which describes a broad range of methods related to audience participation with a broadcast, was issued on March 5, 2013.
     "Jelli has made a significant R&D investment in both the technology, platform and underlying intellectual property around user-controlled broadcasting," said Jelli CEO Mike Dougherty. "This technology combines the reach of broadcast with the social engagement of the web, to unlock value for users, broadcasters and advertisers alike. We are pleased to receive a fundamental patent in this area to protect the innovations of our team, for our company and partners."
