At Rhythmic Oldies XHRM (Magic 92.5)/San Diego, morning team Jagger & Kristi made the dream of Marisa Cox, a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome come true. On March 21, World Down Syndrome Day, Marisa (a huge Justin Beiber fan) learned that she would be a VIP guest at the upcoming Justin Beiber concert on Saturday, June 22 at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center. Marisa, who suffers from a life-threatening kidney disease following a kidney transplant, will also get to meet the mega-star backstage before the show. Jagger & Kristi surprised Marisa with the tickets and good news last week, along with other Bieber themed prizes.

The NFL's Cleveland Browns are moving to CBS Radio Sports WKRK and Good Karma Sports WKNR-AM, a deal that puts the play-by-play package on competing stations, reports, the News-Herald of Willoughby, Ohio's Bob Finnan. Additionally, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reveals the games will also air on CBS Classic Rock WNCX, resulting in a trimulcast of the games. The Browns games have been heard on Clear Channel Active Rocker WMMS, but CC dropped out of the bidding, reports Finnan.

Before flipping to a simulcast of News/Talk WLW-AM, CCM+E-Cincinnati allowed listeners to choose the format for 94.5 FM for the month of April, via a "Final Format Tournament." The winning entry came from Florence, KY native Josh Field with his Cincy Rock 94.5 format: "The Best undiscovered music of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Reds on FM."
"Before turning 94.5 over to the Big One, 700 WLW, we wanted to take the opportunity to make Cincinnati radio history." said Chris Williams, CCM+E-Cincinnati OM/PD of WEBN, "Never before has a radio station been given away as a prize and placed in the control of a single fan.  We’re excited that the audience selected a format that will support the local music scene with Cincy Rock 94.5." 94.5 Cincy Rock will debut immediately following the FM simulcast of the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day game on Monday April 1. Starting May 1, 94.5 will be the permanent FM simulcast of 700WLW.
