Four-time Grammy award-winning R&B singer-songwriter The-Dream has announced on his website that a date has finally been selected for the release of his long-waited album, IV Play. The release date is set for May 28, with the track, "Slow it Down" acting as the lead single; the music video will be released April 2. The-Dream announced the album in 2011, and since then has had numerous title and release date changes. Previous titles included The Love, which then became Love IV: Diary of a Madman, and thenLove IV MMXII, before IV Play was finally decided upon.
Fall Out Boy
After their current international spring and summer tour, Fall Out Boy will head out on a North American arena tour playing tracks from Save Rock & Roll, their first album since 2008. The tour will start September 5 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, and finish September 29th at Tampa Ba's USF Sun Dome. Tickets go on sale April 5-6. Save Rock & Roll is due out April 16.
Sean "Diddy" Combs will perform at WWEWrestlemania 29 on Sunday, April 7, live from MetLife Stadium outside New York City. In addition to performing at the Pay-Per-View event, Diddy will also co-host the "Superstars for Sandy Relief" party with WWE Chairman/CEO Vince McMahon as a part of the WrestleMania week festivities and serve as an ambassador for WWE’s Be a STAR anti-bullying initiative. "WrestleMania is one of the biggest spectacles in the world and I’m looking forward to performing in front of millions on April 7," said Combs. "I’ve always been a fan of WWE and I’m excited to support these two important causes, Superstars for Sandy Relief and the Be a STAR anti-bullying initiative."
Beyoncé, along with Florence + the Machine, Haim, Ellie Goulding and others, will be holding a globally broadcasted benefit concert at London's Twickenham Stadium on June 1. The concert will be on behalf of Chime for Change, founded by Gucci. Chime for Change supports equal opportunities for girls and women around the world by focusing on education, health, and social justice issues. Gucci will ensure that all ticket sales will go toward one of the numerous charities that the campaign works with. The day after the concert, ticket holders will be given a voucher that may be applied to any one of the charities. Other performers at the benefit include Iggy Azalea, John Legend,Laura Pausini, Rita Ora and Timbaland. More performers and details will be released in the upcoming weeks. Tickets are currently on sale.
Rockers Soundgarden have signed a worldwide publishing administration agreement with BMG Chrysalis US. JillPedone, Creative Director at BMG Chrysalis US, commented, "Soundgarden have earned their place in music history as innovators of the rock genre.
